In this 3-credit course, learners explore modern principles of Diversity, Equity Inclusion, and how to create Safe Working and Sexual Harassment free environment. They are trained to recognize conscious and unconscious bias and how to promote DEI and SWSHE without compromising quality of research implementation. Working with faculty and mentors, trainees identify local challenges with DEI and SWSHE and how to resolve them. This course will provide trainees with in-depth knowledge of core DEI, and SWSHE topics.
